About Us
Foundations
Forest Hill Endodontics was founded in 2015 by Dr. Dustin S. Reynolds. Our practice was founded with a core value of helping others to receive the best treatment. Coinciding with this is another one of our foundational core values: Helping our patients clearly understand their treatment options, the procedures, and any aftercare required on their part. We love to help, and anytime we can calm the anxiety of any of our patients before treatment, we make every effort to do so.
Dr. Dustin S. Reynolds, D.D.S., M.S.
Dustin S. Reynolds is a proud Virginia native from Appomattox. After graduating from Appomattox County High School, he studied at Hampden-Sydney College, receiving his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics. From there, he attended dental school at West Virginia University. Concluding his academic journey, he specialized in Endodontics and completed a two-year residency program. He obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), and Post-Doctoral Master of Science (M.S.) degree.
While in college, he was a member of the Hampden-Sydney Fire Department. He served as an EMT Firefighter. This ultimately paved his way to becoming a health practitioner. His heart was, and still is, to help people and serve his community. This was the desire that led him to enroll in dental school.
Outside of endodontics, Dr. Reynolds is a passionate outdoorsman and conservationist. He enjoys hunting and fishing all over the world. Perhaps his most unique hobby is found at tractor pulls on the weekends, where he pulls a sled with a modified farm tractor he named, “Pullin’ Teeth.” Tractor pulling is something that his family, staff, and colleagues all enjoy supporting him in. Some of his other interests include farming, cars, antiques, traveling, and home improvement projects.
He has always had a heart for leadership and philanthropy. This is evident in the many organizations and groups he is involved in. Dr. Reynolds is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is also a board member of the American Association of Endodontists Foundation, a member of the Southern Endodontic Study Group, and the former President of the Virginia Dental Association. He is also involved with several other local organizations, such as the Lynchburg Dental Society, United Way of Central Virginia, and the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. Dr. Reynolds also enjoys contributing to some of the local charity organizations, such as Meals on Wheels, Park View Mission, Mustaches for Kids, and numerous athletic teams. Dr. Reynolds has and continues to dedicate his life to the service of others: His family, staff, friends, colleagues, patients, and the community.
